January 6, 2010. When I first posted these flyers, I used a scanner to make the PDFs. But there was a spot on the scanner glass, which came out as a little dot on the scanned pages. I have recently upgraded my software and can now make PDFs directly from the word processing documents. So I re-did the "all in one" document, so that it now has all of the printable flyers for use in disaster situations, including the Extreme Civil Emergency and Hectographic Duplicator flyers, which were published after the original "all-in-one" document was created. The documents all have the same name so any links to them still work just fine.

Printable Flyers for use during a big, long-lasting, fast-happening disaster. . .

The world is afflicted with unjust and irrational economic structures and faces multiple threats including resource exhaustion, climate change, and economic collapse.

An unsustainable system will not go on forever. Unless the stress is relieved and the system made sustainable, it will eventually collapse. We hope that a "soft landing" can be engineered for our currently unsustainable systems of economics and lifestyle, but just in case we are wrong. . . or you get stuck in a disaster in which help is delayed. . . or there's some sudden need to jump start a sustainable society real quickly. . .here is a selection of "printable flyers" we hope would be useful. Absent a collapse or destablized situation, they have more ideas about sustainable living and the importance of knowing and working with your neighbors which are useful for families and neighborhoods.. .
