"Strong leadership and partnerships needed to mitigate risk of major disruptions" the latest report about the Year 2000 Computing Crisis (August 13) from the General Accounting Office of the US government says that progress of repair and remediation is slowing, especially in the areas of government social services such as food stamps, WIC, and disability payments.
